The position directs the sales activities in the Municipal water and wastewater market in the Western United States.The successful candidate will evaluate territorial selling needs, then plan and implement appropriate sales distribution channels. The regional sales manager is responsible for training, motivating, and management and performance of the manufacturers representative relative to achieving the short and long-term goals of the corporation for booked orders and gross margin. Also has functional responsibility for meeting the municipal goals of all the corporate business centers. The ideal candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be persuasive and have a proven ability to close orders. Additionally the candidate needs an intimate understanding of the buying influences and purchasing protocol in the municipal market.
