Instruments and Controls Engineer

He/She will be responsible for all phases of instrumentation and control systems (I & CS) design & programming related to equipment including the following: wiring diagrams; panel design & layout; documentation; PLC and MMI programming. He/She will assist sales application engineering to develop I & CS costs for quotations. They will shop test, trouble shoot, field start up, and commission I & CS equipment. They will develop control philosophy; specify & select I & CS components, assist material management negotiate pricing, determine required delivery schedule, and submit purchase requisitions or bill of materials for purchase of I & CS. They will assist in calibration, wire pulling, terminating, and configuration as required. Finally, they will travel to sites for the purpose of start-up, troubleshooting, installation or commissioning, ~40% travel. Experience/Education; BS in electrical engineering desired.3 years experience (min) in PLC programming. Dedicated, motivated self-starter. Previous water treatment control system design/engineering experience a plus. A strong safety background is desired.
