Project Manager Job Order # LM1116 Utah 10% Travel The corporation is in search of a Project Manager to oversee project execution from sale through warranty of multiple projects, with responsibility for project margins and schedule, project budget, and technical accuracy. This includes specification compliance and customer interaction. This is a hands-on job that requires communicating and performing work with all levels of the company and on the production floor. Education / Experience / Qualifications: · Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience. · Minimum 3+ years experience in Project Management. · Proven experience managing projects >$500k. · Proven experience with financial accounting and reporting on projects >$500k. · Understanding of chemical/mechanical processes. · Ability to understand technical specifications, vendor data, and technical drawings. · Advanced computing skills, including AutoCad, Excel, Word, and MS Project. · Above average written and verbal communication skills. · Field experience preferred. · Experience with RO or IX systems a plus. · Experience with the beverage industry a plus. · Follow through on assignments and commitments, timely and accurately. Responsibilities: · Complete projects at expected margin and on schedule. · Manage 3-8 projects, 2-8 month lifecycles, each ranging from $100K to $2M. · Manage risk and exposure throughout project execution. · Responsible for resolving all project problems. · Plan and execute detailed project schedules and quality plans, from receipt of customer order through warranty. · Manage project financials; report weekly/monthly on project progress, performance and forecasts. · Maintain customer relations, serving as primary customer interface. · Be knowledgeable and conversant with all aspects of each assigned project. · Serve as backup for other PM team member’s if not available. · Review specification and bid package for technical compliance. Review budget against specification to insure execution is profitable. · Approve technical drawings / documents for applicability and release. · Interface with sales, customer, manufacturing, engineering, and upper management to insure project execution excellence. · Perform project kick-off, engineering reviews, and completed project reviews. · · Regular participation in Safety Program, Corporate Compliance and Initiatives. |
